Raleigh, NC - Four players posted 78s to tie for Medalist Honors (George James, Mike Jones, Kelby Rouse and Kevin Rodriguez).  Rob Slade, Mike Fry, Troy Tarwater and Scott Beasley (who won a Scorecard Tiebreaker to edge out Jim Gamble for the final spot) also advanced to Sunday's Match Play Rounds.

Action in the First Round was hotly contested as three of the four matches went to the final hole and only two of the Top Four seed survived to advance.  Rob Slade and Scott Beasley went to the final hole before Rob closed the match out 2up.  Despite being the higher seed, George James "upset" Kevin Rodriguez has came back from 2-down to win 1up on the final hole.  Troy Tarwater held on to beat Mike Jones 1up.  Kelby Rouse cruised past Mike Fry 4&3.

In the semi-finals, Rob caught fire and on his way to 3&1 win over Kelby and Troy capped of a 2up win over George on the final hole.

The lack luster final match saw Rob win four of first fives holes on his way to posting a 3&2 victory over Troy to capture his first Match Play Championship and third career Bogey Cup Tour Major.
